UMS is a member of the UKSTT, the United Kingdom Society for Trenchless technology. The UKSTT is a registered charity whose goal is to develop and promote trenchless techniques.

The UKSTT website – www.ukstt.org.uk – is an excellent source of background information on trenchless techniques including a comprehensive glossary of technical terms used in the industry.
